Additional Information
Instruction format
Academic tutoring is offered as individualized instruction. Sessions focus on current coursework, foundational skill gaps, and efficient problem-solving strategies, with homework support integrated as appropriate.
Subject coverage
Tutoring is available for Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, and Probability. Instruction is tailored to the student’s curriculum and pace.
Short-term or emergency support
In limited cases, short-term or time-sensitive academic support may be offered on an hourly basis, subject to availability. Hourly sessions are billed at the standard high school rate and are arranged privately.
Scheduling, cancellations, and makeups
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is requested for cancellations or schedule changes. When advance notice is provided, make-up sessions will be scheduled if at all possible. In the event of illness, car trouble, or unsafe travel conditions, sessions may be conducted remotely when feasible. Emergency cancellations are understood and handled with flexibility; however, missed sessions without notice may not be eligible for rescheduling.
Availability and fit
All instruction is offered subject to availability and instructor discretion. In some cases, a brief consultation may be recommended before enrollment to confirm goals, expectations, and fit.
Enrollment and commitment
Submission of an enrollment request does not guarantee placement. Ongoing tutoring commitments are designed to provide continuity and consistency rather than ad hoc scheduling.
